The History of BCT Walls & Ceilings
IT'S ALL IN THE FAMILY
Operating in Newtown, PA, Bernie Torda established BCT in 1995. BCT has grown to become one of the most-recognized and respected construction companies in the Tri-State area. But it hasn't always been easy. In 2007, Bernie passed away. His wife Linda, and daughter Jessica, both therapists by trade, immediately took over the business. They had a big learning curve ahead of them. With the help of industry friends, the support of the local union, and most importantly their loyal employees, Linda was determined to learn the construction business and keep the doors open.
Today the business is stronger than ever, and they employ approximately 25 people, many of which originally worked for Bernie! Jessica Peiffer, Linda and Bernie's daughter, is the current President of BCT. She believes that the foundation of their business was built on her dad's honorable relationships and his quality reputation... and those two simple principles have enabled them to stay in business. (Well...that and their talented employees!) Today, Jessica wants to continue her fathers legacy and mission: to create long lasting relationships by continuously exceeding the expectations of their customers.
BCT Walls & Ceilings, Inc. is a family-owned union construction company located in the Newtown area that has spanned two generations. Their long standing tradition of high quality craftsmanship,
